Taquitos was brought to life back in 2018 by Gary Quinn who had originally flew off to Florida back in 2016 honing his skills as a chef by learning from two 3 star Michelin trained chefs.
Gary had also staged at the Three Restaurant in Miami for 7 months under the watchful eye of Norman Van Aken and chef de cuisine Miguel Massens.
Due to complications with his visa extension, Gary found himself heading back to Belfast.
Already inspired by Mexican food and having spent a lot of time eating at Mexican restaurants and street food trucks…
Taquitos was born.

Taquitos is located at the big fish just a short walk from where Belfast’s famous ship the Titanic was built!
Tortillas are 100% gluten free.
Gary also uses his own Adobo’s (marinades) to penetrate flavour into his Chicken, Pork and house-made Mexican Chorizo.
Also curing his Beef Brisket for a minimum of 48hrs before going into a nice warm bath of beef fat where it will braise for 14hrs.
Anyone who has tasted this one will quickly vouch for Taquitos signature taco.
Taquitos loves to hook the vegan community up as well with their Mexican refried beans and spicy rice taco being a firm favourite.
